Description

This notice is to advise industry of a Request for Proposal (RFP) of a U S Army requirement for 30 each EPLRS Retrofit Power Amplifiers (PAs) for use as Spares for EPLRS Retrofited Receiver/Transmitters. A sole source acquisition to Raytheon Systems Company (RSC), Fullerton Ca., is proposed for this Acquisition pursuant to FAR6.302-1(b), only one responsible source. The Government does not posess adaquate technical data to define the performance or interface requirements for the EPLRS which precludes a competitive acquisition. RSC is the developer, manfacturer and current supplier of the various EPLRS configurations. This notice is published for informational purposes and subcontracting opportunties only. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
