- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC/LNKC anticipates issuing a competitive Purchase Order for the purchase of 5 RF AMPs applicable to the AN/ALQ-184 System, NSN: 5996-01-337-3516EW. The contract will contain First Article Requirements, a Mission Essential Quantity (MEQ), Bid B, and an option for an increased quantity of 5 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit on a competitive basis. A data package is available to compete this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Request for proposal will be posted on the Web, check http;//pkec.robins.af.mil after 6 DEC 2000. The Government will consider all proposals received within 45 days of posting this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. OMBUDSMAN All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contacting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
