Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to issue a sole source contract to SAS Institute Inc., 100 SAS Campus Drive, Cary, NC 27513 for the renewal of the following proprietary software licenses: System 2000 Data Management Software for UNISYS machines, Base System 2000, System 2000 Multi-user, System 2000 Quex and 1100 S2K/Screen Writer. The period of performance will be through FY2001. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is that this is proprietary software and no other source possesses the capabilities to satisfy this requirement. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
