Description

The NRC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Fluent, Inc. to renew the annual software maintenance fee, network license, and four process parallel license for their Fluent and Fluent/UNS Software which is currently being used for a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) code and support from Fluent, Inc. The procurement will be conducted using other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(2)(b). There are no substitutes for the FLUENT code because it is proprietary and sold exclusively by Fluent, Inc. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement including technical information sufficient to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet this requirement, by close of business November 29, 2000, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts and Property Management, Mail Stop T-7I2, ATTN: Yvette Brown, Ref.
