Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, CA, intends to procure photographic equipment screening services on a full and open competition basis. The required services include screening excess audiovisual/photographic equipment, determining the condition, repairing, disposing of, and/or storing the items. Additional responsibility includes maintenance of cameras, lenses, and audiovisual/photographic equipment. Services will be performed at the Naval Air Station, North Island, San Diego, CA. The projected contract start date is 1 Jan 2001 for a base year plus two one-year options. The government estimates the services will require approximately two manyears of labor per year. The RFP including the statement of work will be posted to the NECO site at www.neco.navy.mil approximately 15 days after the date of this synopsis. The RFP will not be mailed. All interested persons are responsible for locating and downloading the RFP from the NECO website. Note 26 applies.
