Description

RFP# JC-RIV-0-02 for the operation of the Laredo Job Corps Center located in Laredo, Texas, will be available on the World Wide Web, Job Corps Acquisition home page, on or about December 4, 2000 at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost-reimbursement plus fixed-fee for a 2 year base period of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2003, plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 228 residential students and 22 non-residential studens; 111 males and 139 females. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2000 at the Laredo Job Corps Center, 1701 Island St., Laredo, Texas 78044. There will be a tour of the facility following the pre-proposal conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must report to the Administration building. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will consist of Oral Presentation and written submissions as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 1:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Feburary 7, 2001 to the Dallas Regional Office. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
