Description

The Government National Mortgage Association, Ginnie Mae, a wholly-owned Government corporation within the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides a secondary market for government insured/guaranteed loans through its Mortgage- Backed Securities programs. Ginnie Mae is seeking a firm to provide legal advice and assistance on a variety of legal matters including, but not limited to, operation if its Mortgage-Backed Securities programs. A three year, multiple award is contemplated with 2 one-year options to renew. RFP GNMA-01-L-01 will be issued on or about December 18. SIC 8111 applies. All qualified firms regardless of size may request a copy of this solicitation. Brief written proposals limited to resumes of key personnel and past performance of the firm, and consisting of no more than 30 pages, will be due 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. An oral presentation addressing the evaluation factors for award will then be requested of those firms still remaining the competition after the written submission is evaluated.
