Description

The Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract extension for an initial six month period with two six month option periods of Contract No. F44600-93-C0033 with C I Travel, 800 World Trade Center, Norfolk, VA, 23510 to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to perform interim management and operation of the commercial travel offices located at Langley AFB, VA and Seymour-Johnson AFB, NC. The purpose of this contract extension is to allow the Government sufficient time for implementation and transition to the Defense Travel Service Regional Commercial Travel Office (CTO) for travel services. Any contractual agreement for these interim services will be for the period of 01 April 2001 through September 2002 and contain a No-Cost Termination Clause giving the Government the unilateral right to terminate the agreement with a 60 day government notice to facilitate award and providing of services under follow-on Defense Travel Services regional contracts. Transitional to new DoD DTS CTO regional contracts is anticipated or estimated to be between April 2001 and September 2002.
