Description

1. This notice invites you to apply for a Contractor attendance slot at the 2001 USSPACECOM/NRO Warfighters' Space Conference 30 January 1 February 2001. It will be held at the NRO Jimmie D. Hill Conference Center, Chantilly VA. The theme of this conference is "Space response to the asymmetric threat" and will focus on the current space technology initiatives underway to mitigate the impact of the asymmetric threat to military and national operations. This conference will involve industry as full participants. The National Defense Industrial Association Rocky Mountain Chapter has been asked to assist USSPACECOM with this conference. Contractor attendance will be limited and will include opportunities for a total of six company displays and four presentations. Send your nominations for attendance to the NDIA Selection Committee, c/o Raytheon Company, at 1250 Academy Park Loop, Ste 138, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Presentations must be limited to 25 minutes and will be selected based on how space capabilities are/will be applied to counter asymmetric threats to our forces. Your written proposal for presentations and/or displays should be limited to one page and forwarded to the address above no later than November 30, 2000. The committee will review each proposal to choose those deemed most helpful to the warfighter. We will finalize our selections and make notification by December 15, 2000. The conference will be held at the Top Secret//SI/TK level.
