Description

The Seattle District, Corps of Engineers is seeking a qualified firm or university in the Seattle-Tacoma, Washington area to design, develop, and administer a part-time leadership/management development program for ten to twelve Corps of Engineers employees during the initial or base period of June 1, 2001 through July 31, 2002 with options for 2 additional years. The selected firm or university will be responsible for assessing the training needs of the employees; advising and assisting with preparation of individual development plans; facilitating group development activities; counseling interns on their development; scheduling and providing lectures through graduate level leadership and management classroom training; organizing a mentoring program; providing offsite retreats and a field trip; overseeing team projects; coordinating site visits; and maintaining liaison with Corps of Engineers senior leadership and a program steering committee for overall management of the program. This project is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 61131 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8221 with size standard of $5.0 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. Disks will be available on or about 5 December 2000 at no charge per set; issued on a first come, first served basis. No phone requests accepted.
