Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, has a requirement to procure SubHDR Mast Mechanical Groups (MMGs) in accordance with Navy Specifications. Each MMG consists of the following assemblies: Mast Fairing Assembly, External Bearing Assembly, HDR Closure Door Assembly, Hydraulic Control Unit, and Miscellaneous Material Assemblies. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for up to five years: Base Year and 4 "Option" Years. The estimated qty is up to maximum of 16 MMG's per year, additional associated materials and assemblies as required. First Article Unit (Components) are required, unless waived. Quality Assurance Inspection System in accordance with ANSI/ASQCQ9002-1994 or ISO-9002. Performance Testing required per Navy Specifications. Required initial Delivery is 7 months after award, with remaining qty(s) delivered one every 30 days thereafter. Award will be based on "Best Value". Source Selection Criteria shall be Technical/Management Approach and Past Performance. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS: 336611, 1000 Employees.
