- Description
- THIS IS A 100% HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fabricate, pack, mark, and deliver the following items listed herein and in accordance with these specifications: a) Gates "A" and "C" Corner Protection Plate (2 each); b) Gates "A" and "C" Seal Beam (2 each); c) Gates "B" and "D" Corner Protection Plate (2 each); d) Gates "B" and "D" Seal Beam (2 each); e) Template (1 each); f) Hinge/Pintle Corner Protection Plate (4 each); g) Corner Protection Angle (13 each); and f) Wall Plate (4 each). Drawings are available for the above-referenced items. MATERIALS. All items shall be fabricated of ASTM A36 structural steel. WELDING. Welding shall be in accordance with AWS D1.1. APPLICABLE PUBLICATIONS. The publications American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) A36-97a "Standard Specification for Structural Steel" and American Welding Society Inc. (AWS) D1.1 "Structural Welding Code Steel", form a part of these specifications to the extent referenced. FINAL CHECKING. After completion, but prior to processing and packing, each item shall be checked dimensionally and visually by the Government Inspector to assure compliance with these specifications and drawings. PACKING. The items shall be packed in a manner to insure carrier acceptance and safe delivery at destination. Containers shall be in accordance with consolidated Freight Classification Rules or other carrier regulations as applicable to the mode of transportation. The items procured under this contract shall be delivered f.o.b. to the US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District Warehouse, 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118.
