Description

This is a notice of intent that Channel Islands AGS, 146 LS/LGC anticipates issuing a small purchase contract for the purchase of one (1) each Wheel Buildup Stand manufactured by Bauer Howden, to include the following items: Universal Wheel Builduip Stand, Model 8071007, C-130 Main Wheel Adapter, Model BEI3840-C130-M-F and C-130 Nose Wheel Adapter, Model BEI3840-C130-N-F, NSN: 4920-01-440-9168RH. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one brand Bauer Howden, Inc. Bristol, CT. No data package is available to compete this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. Firms which feel they have the capability to perform within the specifications should contact the Contracting Officer, Karen Wegner by email at karen.wegner@cachan.ang.af.mil or at the address above no later than December 8, 2000.
