Description

DESC -- The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to acquire Electrical Mounting Bases, NSN 5975-01-340-0288, Part Number 03-2740861-1, used with the AN/VRC-97. This acquisition will result in a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)type contract with Delivery Orders issued on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The method of acquisition will be sole source, negotiated, to General Dynamics, Taunton, MA. The minimum guaranteed quantity at time of award is 266 each. The U.S. ARMY Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry to allow electronic postings of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Sealed Bids from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil). No bids shall be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer. The solicitation will be posted O/A December 05, 2000. Receipt of proposal will be due O/A forty five (45) days from solicitation posting.
