Description

USDA Forest Service plans to award one contract for Architectural Engineering services. Scope of the contract includes design and development of construction specifications for a single story, ADA compliant building to house a training center and lobby to be attached to the existing San Dimas Technology and Development Center Administrative building. Approximate square footage of the building will be 4,800; to include 2,400 square foot training room, restroom facilities per UBC, 400 square foot refreshments/food room, and storage room. A 1000 square foot lobby to service existing administration building and new training center building. Design to include approximately 60 space parking lot, landscaping, safety lighting. Location is at 444 E. Bonita Avenue, San Dimas, California, 91773. The existing Center is on a lot 62,000 square feet. Anticipated completion of design will be May 1, 2001. In addition to the criteria listed in Note 24, special criteria include (1) facility design in the $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 construction cost range. See numbered Notes 1 and 24.
