Description

Services to provide Electrical Survey Study. The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the condition, capacity, and realiability of the overall electrical system at this facility. If problems or deficiencies exist, the A/E is to propose alternatives for correction and cost estimates for accomplishment. The Electrical Engineer shall conduct a complete study of the facility's entire electrical and secondary distribution systems, including all primary and secondary emergency generation systems. The engineer shall analyze the electrical system's for compliance with VA Construction Standards, Requirements, and all NEPA/Electrical Codes, including its existing and required loads, coordination, physical condition and maintainability. Progress of study shall be reviewed at the preliminary (25%), intermediate (50% & 75%), AND FINAL (100%)levels. See numbered Note 24. The study must be certified by a Professional Electrical Engineer practicing in the engineering field. The area of consideration for this procurement is limited to the state of Georgia. This procurement is issued IAW the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is full and open. The NAICS code designated for this procurement is 541330. All interested and responsible A/E firms should submit a current SF 254 and a SF 255 to the attention of Paul Dixon (003/90C) at the above address. Forms must be received no later than 4:30 pm December 18, 2000.
