Description

DESC: This acquisition is for the removal, transportation and disposal of lead and rubber lamellas located at one outdoor small arms familiarization range at Fort Drum, New York. Additional work will include the installation of new lamellas as provided by the Government. It is the Government's intent to award a requirements type contract as a result of this Request for Quotations (RFQ). The base performance period will be from 1 April 2001 through 31 March 2002 with two one-year option periods (last option year ending 31 March 2004). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 Facilities Support Services. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The RFQ will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum Web Page. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 21 December 2000. The DUE DATE for receipt of offers shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. Offers will be evaluated based on technical qualifications, past performance and price. The RFQ will require offerors to submit three plans (Quality Control, Waste Disposal, and Site Health, Safety and Environmental Protection), that will be evaluated under technical qualifications. Award will be made to the offeror with the quote that provides the best value to the Government.
