Description

Request for quotation for the use of a landfill for the disposal of the following (estimated annual amount): A. Paper/Cardboard 1200 tons B. Household garbage 19 tons C. Wood scrap 5 tons D. Non-hazardous containers 3 tons E. Mixed waste 1623 tons (rubber and metal) F. Construction Debris 150 tons G. Fluid bed waste (sand) 235 tons H. Blast Media 70 tons I. Phosphate Sludge 27 tons J. Boiler Ash 1700 tons K. Asbestos 500 yards. Landfill accessible Monday-Friday between 0800-1700 hours. Self-dumping trucks including roll-off containers, front-load compactors, unitized compactor containers, conventional dump, rear load luggers, and conventional housing trucks will deliver to the landfill. No assistance is required for dumping unless mud at the landfill during inclement weather requires the trucks to be towed. This will be a fixed price contract awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the evaluated price. The contract period will be for one year. Critical evaluation factor is the cost of hauling from Red River Army Depot (RRAD) to the landfill. The evaluated price will be calculated by adding the RRAD transportation cost to the total price of the contract. This is a combined synopis/presolicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the FAR as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
