Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a Contract Health Service (CHS) requirements type contract for the provision of Cardiology Services. The services include, but are not limited to, onsite office consultations for the purpose of developing a medical management plan; specialized diagnostic testing; cardiology clinics two days per month; surgical treatment; and quality assurance reporting. In accordance with the IHS Payment Policy (Federal Register Vol. 51, No. 125, June 30, 1986, pages 23540-41 -- Tab 1, Exhibit 1), the IHS shall consider award to the offeror willing to accept reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rate (including deductibles and co-payments). The contract shall be awarded for a base year with four (4) renewal years.
