- Description
- The Department of Defense (DOD) Automatic Test System Management Board's (AMB's) NxTest Integrated Product Team, will host a DoD Next Generation Automatic Test System (ATS) Workshop December 13-14 in Jacksonville, Florida. The agenda for the meeting is as follows: Dec 13 -- The Government will provide briefings addressing the DoD next generation ATS strategy and requirements; Dec 14 -- Industry to provide the NxTest IPT with private feedback on new concepts and new technologies that might apply (Quartz Watch Day). Note that technology briefings to the NxTest IPT will be in half-hour, closed door sessions. In the event of overwhelming interest, some industry to NxTest IPT briefings may be scheduled for Friday, 15 Dec 2000. The Conference will be held on the 13th from 0800 to 1630 at the Holiday Inn, 9150 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256 phone 904-737-1700. On the 14th from 0800 until 1630, the meetings will be held at the Test Integration Facility (TIF), 8475 Western Way, Suite 150, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Those wishing to participate on the 14th of Dec at the TIF must send a visit request to John Hall by FAX at 905-363-2221. To arrange a technology briefing to the NxTest IPT, send a request with the name of organization, point of contact, and technology you will brief to Kirk Even at EvenKG@navair.navy.mil. Seating is limited. Organizations wishing to participate in this Conference are limited to two representatives and should respond no later than 1 Dec 2000. This announcement is for information only and is not a request for proposals nor is it an indication that any DOD agency intends any contractual actions at this time. No funds shall be expended in this effort.
