Description

The 128TH Air Refueling Wing, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Container Research Corporation, Glen Riddle, PA, to provide a Cargo Door Stand for the KC 135R Aircraft. This procurement is being conducted under the simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and other than full and open competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1)) (SOLE SOURCE) FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Solicitation will be made in writing. Anticipated award date is 11/24/00. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Firms that recognize and can provide the required supplies described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Firms believing they can provide the required supplies must provide supporting evidence. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government will consider all responses received within seven days of the date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
