Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) is pleased to announce the solicitation of the New Seattle, Washington United States Courthouse construction project. This 20 story 615,000 gross square foot facility will accommodate the Court's 10-year requirements for 18 District Courtrooms and 22 Judge's Chambers at 7th Avenue and Stewart Street in downtown Seattle. It also provides infrastructure for the Court's 30-year requirements for 25 District Courtrooms and 30 Judge's Chambers. Solicitation number GS-10P-01-LTC-0011, SIC: 1542, Estimated Range $140 million to $160 million. This solicitation is not being set-a-side for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit proposals. All interested parties are invited to attend the New Seattle U.S. Courthouse Pre-Proposal Conference and Subcontractor -- Small Business Fair on November 28th, 2000 in the North/South Auditoriums (4th floor) of the Seattle Jackson Federal Building (915 -- 2nd Avenue) at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, respectively. All Prospective Offerors shall contact the GSA Contracting Officer, Michael Rutter (mike.rutter@gsa.gov, (253) 931-7295), no later than 10:00 AM (PST) on November 21st, 2000 about their participation in these meetings. Please go to the GSA Courthouse website at www.northwest.gsa.gov/seattle-usch/ to get a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP). All offerors shall review the information below prior to submitting an offer: 1. Phase 1 -- Written Technical Proposal due no later than December 8th, 2000. 2. Phase 2 -- Price Proposal due no later than February 13th, 2001. 3. Phase 3 -- Final Proposal Revision estimated due date is no later than April 6th, 2001. Phase 1 and 2 Proposals are due no later than 10:00 AM at the GSA Regional Office, 2nd Floor, 400 -- 15th Street S.W., Auburn, WA 98001-6599 on the dates shown above. The Phase 3 Final Proposal Revision (FPR) will be submitted to the same GSA office in Auburn, WA at a date and time to be determined later.
