Description

NASA/SSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for REPAIR OF ELEVATORS AT B TEST STAND. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to the following: Providing all labor, tools, equipment and materials for replacement of the elevator hoist machines #1 an #2 in bldg B-4220. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $250,000 to $500,000, and the effort shall be completed within 240 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. [See Note1]. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 234990 and $17 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about December 7, 2000 with an anticipated offer opening date of January 4, 2001. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet only, no hard copies will be made availabe. These documents will be in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
