Description

Seal Assemblies for use with MK30, Mod 1 Mobile Targets in accordance with NAVSEASYSCOM drawings 5979483-1 (125 each) and 5979483-2 (165 each) and associated drawing 2819202 (rev E) by required delivery date of June 1, 2001. These are complex shaft seal assemblies with mating ring interface not exceeding 0.25 cc of water under high pressure. Preproduction and Periodic test samples are required to demonstrate pressures, speeds, seal operating lengths and concentricity. Seal operating lenth during testing shall be .656 or .750 +/- .030. Note 22 aplies -- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport intends on making this procurement on a sole source basis from John Crane Marine USA of Chesapeake, VA.
