Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Responses shall reference "Request for Quotation No. DE-RQ04-2001AL67140". This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This requirement is Small Business Set Aside utilizing the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 5043 or the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 421410 with a corresponding qualifying size standard of 100 employees (indicates maximum allowed for a concern, including its affiliates, to be considered small). The DOE-AL intends to purchase the following: Line item one (1): Quantity 4 each, Part No.: PLC-XF10NZ, multi-media projector LCD XGA 3000 Lumens, motorized zoom lens, Line Item two (2): Quantity 4 each, Part No: PM PBM-911L, Mount for PLC-XF10NZ Projector, Line Item three (3) 4 each, Part No: PM AST-2446, adjustable height extension adapter for PLC-XF10NZ Projector. Delivery shall be made on or before December 30, 2000. The delivery and acceptance point is U.S. Department of Energy, Albuquerque Operations Office, Pennsylvania & K Sts., KAFB East, Warehouse Bldg. 20397, Albuquerque, NM 87115. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. All commercial provisions and FAR clauses referenced in this solicitation are available in full text at the following website location: http://www.doeal.gov/cpd/acq-dig.htm. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Only those Offerors who can furnish the items will be considered, no substitute items will be accepted. Award will be made based on the lowest evaluated price. Offerors shall INCLUDE in written response, a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with the offer. The clauses at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, including addenda: DEAR 952.202-1, Definitions applies to this acquisition. In addition, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Under FAR 52.212-5, paragraph (b), the Contracting Officer has indicated that the following clauses are incorporated by reference; FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; and FAR 52.232-34, Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer. Offerors shall provide CONFIRMATION on a VETS100 Report per the provision at FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era.
