Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to automate the patent review process of patents received by the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO), which may require secrecy order. USPTO currently scans patents into an in-house system and prints these patents for review. The application and system development of the Patent Secrecy Review System shall include finalizing remaining requirements and business processes as they evolve; design, develop and integrate software applications and hardware in support of the Patent Application Review System and will also include database development; documenting all developed applications and any customization of software applications; documenting the overall system as determined by DTRA; and provide technical guidance. The system shall be designed utilizing Remote Access Services Protocol (RASP) Secure Access which was developed jointly by the U.S. National Security Agency, Kasten Chase, Mykotronx and Spyrus to provide Government users with Remote access to classified data. The vendor must have technical knowledge and experience with Thin Client, and Citrix MetaFrame/Winframe. Requests for the RFP must be in writing and must cite the RFP number.
