Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation; the number is DAAB07-01-Q-B006. Award will be reflected as a modification (P00006) to contract number: DAAB07-99-D-B403. 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. 4. This acquisition is intended to be a sole source to Rockwell Collins, Inc. (Cedar Rapids, IA 52498), therefore, there is no set-aside. 5. The line items are as follows: 0001AA Repair of: 1. LRU part no. RT-2594, NSN: 5826-01-444-0314, 2. LRU part no. RT-2593, NSN: 5826-01-444-0315; repair of any combination of these items is not to exceed 200 repairs. 0002AA Retrofit of LRU part no. RT-2593, NSN: 5826-01-444-0315; the total number of retrofits is not to exceed 90. *For each line item, please quote the service price per unit. 6. Applicable to this solicitation is a Statement of Work, which is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment. 7. Shipments are to be FOB Destination Deliveries are to be in accordance with the Statement of Work. Specific delivery requirements will be contained in subsequent delivery orders. 8. Applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. 9. Not applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause: 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. 10. Offerors are required to complete and submit a copy of the FAR provision: 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; this provision is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment. 11. Applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 12.
