Description

Lease, including maintenance and spare parts, of eight (8) IOS Explosion Proof Refrigerated Containers, to be delivered at Defense Depot Richmond Virginia. Inside dimensions shall be 8'high, 7'6" wide, and 37'4" long; refrigeration system must operate on 220/230 V, 60 Hz, 3 Phase electrical power with surge/phase protection; refrigeration capability -- must maintain a constant nominal 58 degrees F. (+/-4 degrees) in Richmond Virginia. All units must be from the same manufacturer and utilize the same design and components. Partlow Chart Recorders shall be installed on each unit continuously recording the inside temperature for a 31 day period. Government must be allowed to cut an electrical conduit access hole through container wall and use necessary attachments to install an environmental monitoring system and regulated Nitrogen supply system inside each container; provide delivery setup upon initiation of contract and disconnection and removal upon expiration of contract. Duration of contract is one year with option to extend the terms of the contract an additional 48 months.
