Description

N68950-01-R-3701, Demolish Buildings 37,2832,2835, and Compressor House #6 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana. This solicitation will be issued as a performance contract, best value basis with technical and price proposals required. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation and will include past peformnce in similar work, performance narrative and project schedule. This project is for the demolition of Buildings 37,2832,2835 and Compressor House #6. Square footage of each building is approximately as follows: Bldg. #37= 34,600 SF, Bldg #2832 = 96 SF, Bldg #2835 = 123 SF, and Compressor House #6 = 102 SF. The work of this project includes demolition, removal and disposal of all asbestos material required for demolition, proper handling of PCB containing light ballasts, demolition and removal of all reinforced concrete walls, all floors, and foundations, all concrete masonry walls, all gypsum board walls, all doors, windows, HVAC and piping, structural steel, electrical and roofing including corrugated transite, seeding and mulching of area and all incidental related work. Estimated cost range is $500,000-$1,000,000. Estimated completion time is 180 calendar days after award. This proposed contract listed here is an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 235940, Wrecking and Demo Contractors. The Small Business size standard is $11.5 million. Approximate release date is November 21, 2000. Proposals will be due December 21, 2000. Solicitation will only be released via the Internet.
