Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary for repairing sub-drain system along fuel pits and replacing pit seals for fuel line as well as any other work required to complete project as set forth in strict accordance with plans and specifications of the contract as specified in the Technical Provisions. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a magnitude of $500,000 minimum and $1,000,000 maximum. The performance period has yet to be determined. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required. The government is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only. If you are a HUBZone firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by e-mail to dan.lacroix@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a positive statement of your remaining bonding capacity, list of similar jobs involving fuel pumping/drainage systems within the last three years including references and all contracts now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response is requested by 4 Dec 00. If you do not reply by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. We estimate solicitation will be issued 14 Dec 00. All contractors MUST certify by stating that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered.
