Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue on a sole source basis, a Basic Ordering Agreement with Norco, Inc 139 Ethan Allen Hwy, Ridgefied, CT 06877. Norco, Inc. will provide Main Rotor Blade Restraint (MRBR) (P/N 70700-77515-043) for the H-60 Program, when ordered by the Government in accordance with the terms and conditions of the BOA. The Government intends to procure this hardware under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-01-R-0071. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be available. This synopsis covers any and all orders issued under the BOA. (SEE Note 22)
