Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard has submitted a requirement for 15 each butterfly valves varing from 8" to 12" NPS. All require MIL-V-24624, Style A, Type III HPBV. Operators required will range from manual to electrical. All require grade A shock qualification certification for valve and operator. FOB destination: Bremerton, WA 98314. The proposed solicitation shall be a total small business set-aside. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. The estimated solicitation release date is 27 Nov 00. The estimated date of award is 8 DEC 00. Ther required delivery date is 13 JAN 01. Note 1 applies. All responsible sources may submit offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. All solicitation requests must be sent via e-mail; including cage code, DUNS number, phone and fax number with request. Solicitation packages will be sent to vendors via e-mail.
