Description

1. The Department of Justice is requesting a detailed cost proposal to design and install one new Spectradome II Pelco PTZ color camera on the exterior entrance to the Solicitor General's ramp and one government provided Spectradome II housing and one relocated Spectradome II Pelco PTZ camera on the interior of Courtyard D to monitor vehicular ingress and egress at the Main Justice Building, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20530. Cameras are to interface with the existing building perimeter CCTV camera system, which includes fiber optic connections. 2. To request a package detailing the scope of work, please provide your mailing address and phone number via fax to 202-514-4929 by noon (Eastern Time) on November 24, 2000. Address the fax to Mr. Mike Ragan. 3. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, 2000, at 10:00 am, the Main Justice Building. Please contact Mr. Ragan if you plan to attend. 4. Please fax any questions you have concerning this project to the fax number listed above by December 1, 2000. These questions (and those raised at the site visit) and answers will be prepared and faxed to each prospective bidder who requested a package. 5. The contractor selected shall be allowed on the site Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, during design and construction. The contractor must self park, as no space is available in the Main Justice Building. 6. Quotes are due by close of business December 6, 2000. Please send quotes via fax at 202-514-4929, attention Mr. Mike Ragan. The successful contractor will be expected to begin work immediately and complete the project by January 2, 2001. 7. Award under this solicitation is set aside for small business as described by FAR 52.219-6; the successful bidder may be required to provide documentation confirming eligibility as a small business concern. However, all interested parties are encouraged to submit quotes to be considered in the event that no small business concerns are responsive to this solicitation.*****
