Description

Re-fit and repair of 18 Pinnacle Packet Radio Unit (PRU) sets currently in use at the National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, CA. Upgrade required to support long term operations at NTC. Upgrade, test, clean, and assemble PRU sets with ruggedized, sealed, watertight cases. Each rack system includes: 1) dual speed, rack-mounted hub; 2) rack-mounted power center with 9 outlets; 8 internal and 1 external; 3) three-space foam lined rack drawer for a laptop computer, power supply, and accessories; 4) six-space rear access panel and two-space swing-away connector panel with dual polyphaser lighting arrestor/antenna connectors, BNC-video and 110 AC outlet with captured hardware; 5) racks are to be lightweight, durable, dust-proof, watertight, equipped with 8-cornered shock-absorbing system to accommodate rough transport. Produce three repeater sites at Teifurt Mountain, Langford Lade, and Leader Training Program (LTP) site all located at NTC. Each site requires two dual-rack systems for the interim points and two single-rack systems for the end points. The links for each site would include near-end-single rack set and one interim point-dual rack set times 2; Far End-single rack set, for a total of 6 dual racks and 6 single racks. Provide two single-rack spare units. A single-rack system includes one Pinnacle bridge, RF card, pigtail and amplifier kit with one available rack space for an encoder/decoder, if needed. Dual-rack system includes two Pinnacle bridge, RF card, pigtail and amplifier kits. Evaluation will be based on price and past performance. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 23531. Size standard is $11.5M.
