Description
This is a market survey to seek sources for the AN/ALQ-212 T&M support. The US Army CECOM U.S. Army Communications Command (CECOM)RDEC is seeking sources and information for Engineering support for the Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasure/Common Missile Warning System (AN/ALQ-212). The period of performance will be 60 months. This system is used by rotary wing aircraft to detect the launch and flight of Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) and provide countermeasures for IR guided missiles to preclude them from damaging the aircraft. The missile warning component of the system, the Common Missile Warning System (AN/AAR-57), is designed to meet the flight and environmental requirements of the DoD's Tactical Aircraft as represented by the F-16, F-15, AV-8B, F-18 and A/AO-10. The AN/ALQ-212 T&M support are as follows: Knowledge of installing ATIRCM/CMWS or CMWS on various platforms. The installation shall include (Design, Fabrication, Software design, Software code and test, Installation and test, and update ATIRCM/CMWS documentation) for all current and follow-on Army, Air Force, and Navy platforms. Threat Exploitation (Provide Jam code design and analysis, and threat signature characterization). Repair and Acceptance testing of ATIRCM/CMWS hardware as well as installation kit hardware. Update ATIRCM/CMWS software and incorporate the changes into the ATIRCM/CMWS baseline. Provide failure analysis to determine the sources of failures identified during testing. Analysis test data from all testing. Develop corrective action for equipment changes required to address the results of failure analysis. Development of Pre-planned product Improvement (P3I) programs for ATIRCM/CMWS hardware and software. Knowledge of the End-to-End model and interrelationship with hardware to provide upgrades to the model as required. Sources must possess knowledge of the ATIRCM/CMWS system to accomplish the above tasks.
