- Description
- The current contract for the operation and maintenance of the United States Air Force Europe (USAFE) portion of the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Training Facility (POLYGONE) in Germany will expire 30 SEP 01. Due to the loss of Technical Expert Status Accreditation and other changes in the contract, USAFE is currently looking into the possibility of performing a contract cost comparison under AFI 38-203, Commercial Activities Program, to determine if it might be more cost-effective to bring the function back in-house. Please note that approval to conduct a contract cost comparison has not yet been granted. We request that the Market Research questionnaire found on the FedBizOpps website http://www.eps.gov be completed by your company to help us create a re-procurement strategy that is beneficial to both the US Government and all prospective offerors. To help you better answer the market research questions, a very rough draft of the proposed PWS has also been placed on the FedBizOpps website. Please send your completed questionnaire NLT 07 December 00 to the address listed at the bottom of the questionnaire. Hardcopy, faxed copy or emailed response is acceptable. Please recognize that all information you provide is gratis. Any alternate methods or approaches to reduce costs or to enhance job performance are herewith solicited. Please forward all questions or comments on the rough draft of the PWS to the same address on the questionnaire.
