Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Denver, CO for Newborn Screening Testing for the period 10-01-00 through 9-30-01. This is a sole source procurement due to the provisions of the State of Colorado Legislation Section 24-4-103, C.R.S., Newborn Screening Laboratory Regulation 5 CCR 1005-4, 25-4-801 C.R.S. et. seq., and 25-41001, C.R.S., et seq. as amended by HB 96-1030. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
