Description

DESC: The U. S. Army Operations Support Command (HQ OSC) intends to issue solicitation DAAA09-00-R-5051 on 21 November 2000. This solicitation is to conduct an A-76 competition at Watervliet Arsenal, Waterlviet, NY IAW guidelines of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-76 entitled "Performance of Commercial Activities". This solicitation will be issued on a full and open competitive basis to solicit for nonpersonal services to perform Watervliet Arsenal Base Operation functions. This will be a firm fixed price contract with a one-year contract including a transition period and four (4) one-year options. This solicitation will be issued "Subject to Availability of Funds" on a "Short of Award" basis. NOTICE- NOTICE: A pre-proposal conference/site visit is planned to be held on 1 December 2000 at Watervliet Arsenal. The solicitation can be accessed via the Internet. That effort will not be continued and the A-76 effort is moving forward with the release of this RFP. NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS: All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor's Register (CCR).
