Description

The government intends to negotiate and issue a sole source modification to contract F16602-92-D0010 with SATO Travel, 1005 North Glebe Road, Arlington VA 22201, to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform interim management and operation of the commercial travel offices located at Barksdale AFB LA and Dyess AFB TX. The purpose of this contract extension is to allow the government sufficient time to award follow-on DOD-wide commercial travel office (CTO) contracts. Any contractual agreement for these interim services will be for the base period of 1 April 2001 through 30 September 2001, with two six-month extension periods. Modification will also contain a no-cost termination clause giving the government the unilateral right to terminate the agreement with a 60-day government notice to facilitate award and providing of services under the follow-on DTS regional contracts. Transition to new DOD DTS CTO regional contracts is estimated to be within the base or extension period.
