Description

THIS PROCUREMENT PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED UNDER CBD NOTICE SN5048G9, POSTED ON OCTOBER 20, 2000 UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER DAKF61-01-B-0002. THE PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND IS HEREIN REPLACED. This office intends to issue Request for Quotes (RFQ) DAKF61-01-Q-0009 to provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, services, and materials (except where noted as Government-furnished) for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and related services. Work may include outbound services, inbound services, intra-city, and intra-area moves. Areas of performance are within the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan (Upper Peninsula). Period of performance will be a base period 1 Mar 01 through 31 Dec 01 with four one-year option periods. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business participation. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 488991 applies with a small business size standard of $18.5 million. The RFQ will be issued on or about 15 Dec 00 with quotations due on or about 17 Jan 01. Solicitation documents will be available electronically at the Army Single Face to Industry Business Opportunities Page http://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Telephonic, written, or electronic requests for hard copies of documents will be denied. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation as well as solicitation amendments; contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Numbered Note 1 applies.
