Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) has a requirement for up to 14 each of two types of hydraulic pumps. Type one pump- Denison Model P8V-2R1A-104-A-M-023-80217-0 or equal. Type one pump shall have hydraulic variable displacement, pressure compensated, 2500 PSI @1800 RPM, 46.8 GPM capacity, w/self contained replenishment pump. Pump will be constructed of non-magnetic material. Magnetic permeability shall be 2.0 or less.. Type two pump -- Denison Model P8V-2R1A-104-A-M-023-80217-0 or equal. Type two pump shall have hydraulic, variable displacement, pressure compensated, 2800 PSI @1800 RPM, 62.3 GPM capacity, w/self contained replenishment pump. Pump will be constructed of non-magnetic material. Magnetic permeability shall be 2.0 or less. The Government anticipates the resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery- Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a NTE base quantity for up to 6 units for each part number, a FY 02 option for up to 4 units for each part number, and a FY 03 option for up to 4 units for each part number. Delivery to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard will be required within 26 weeks after delivery order issuance. This acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12, commercial acquisitions. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about 01 December 00 and close on or about 15 December 00. All offerors are put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203 (h), the solicitation will have less than a 30-day response time. Evaluation of offers will be based on best value analysis, with past performance being moderately more important that price. When issued the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from the NECO website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to robin_L_shafer@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by FISCPS.
