Description

This requirement is for a commercially available compressor control system for 12 axial flow compressors which comprise the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) Process Wind Tunnel (PWT) Plenum Evacuation System (PES). Controllers shall be provided for each of the 12 compressors to perform performance control and compressor surge protection. The compressor control system will interface with existing process control instrumentation and to an existing Supervisroy Controller, a GE Fanuc Series 90- 70 programmable logic controller (PLC). Also included in this effort will be contractor supplied engineering support with proven expertise in compressor control to configure, checkout, and provide training on the control system at AEDC. The performance period shall be 180 Calendar days.
