Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) currently has multiple contracts referred to as the Management Studies and Analysis contracts. These contracts provide management support in the following categories: Reinventing Government Initiatives, Resource Management Improvement Initiative, Health Care Reform, Improvement of Business Processes, Improved Management of Systems, Human Resource Management-Training, Construction/Facilities Management, and Real Property Management. These contracts are scheduled to expire in the January-February 2001 timeframe. The Government is in the process of re-competing these requirements and has released a draft solicitation for comment, anticipating the release of the formal solicitation in late January 2001 with award in May/June 2001. In the interim, the Government will modify intends to extend on a sole source basis the current Management Studies and Analysis contracts for a six-month period to provide for continuity of service pending the award of follow-on contracts.
