Description

The Naval Air Systems Command anticipates awarding a sole source contract to General Dynamics Information Systems (GDIS), for the Advanced Missile Interface Box, B-Kits to upgrade and add capability to the S-3 Armament Control System. GDIS is the original equipment manufacturer under a Defense Micro Electronics Agency contract. This action will be negotiated on a sole source basis under statutory authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements), as GDIS is the only company possessing the necessary technical expertise and data to necessary to performance of this effort within the required timeframe.
