Description

This is a combined sources sought synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number F713PMS03250100 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-15 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Change Notice 20000413. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) is 334515 and the size standard is 500 employees. This combined sources sought synopsis/solicitation is for the purchase of GENRAD Model 2750 Digital Testers and/or associated parts and assemblies. Whole units will be cannibalized to provide a stock of spare parts to maintain/repair Model 2750 testers currently in use. At present, the need is for 2 each test systems configured as follows: Microvax II System CPU Sun Workstation 3/140, 25 each #2750-4087 Pin Assembly Boards, 1 each #2750-4009 Scanner Assembly, 1 each #2750-4019 Clock/Sync/Trigger Board, 1 each #2750-4083 Digital Probe Board Assembly, 1 each #270-4095 Digital Probe Board Assembly, 1 each #2750-4095 PVS Programmer Assembly, 3 each GenRad PVS (7V, 5.5V & 30V Modules Installed), 1 each #2750-4003 10V Power Supply, 1 each #2750-4004 29V Power Supply, 2 each #2750-4005 40V Power Supply and all standard boards and power supplies. Delivery is desired no later than 5 Jan 01. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors_Commercial, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation _Commercial Items (evaluation will be made based on price, condition, and ability to meet delivery requirement), FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders_Commercial Items, para (23) is checked.. The following DFARS provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: DFARS 252-204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252-212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. Include copies of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items with your quote. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make the full text of all of the above mentioned clauses available. Responses shall be submitted in sufficient detail to enable accomplishment of a thorough technical evaluation and price comparison. Shipping should be priced separately _ to Hornell Heights (North Bay) Ontario Canada. Interested parties must respond no later than 4:00 p.m., EST, on 8 Dec 00. Government inspection and acceptance of equipment and/or components shall be accomplished prior to award of contract. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria: price, condition, and, availability.
