Description

The Social Security Administration is seeking sources that can provide on-site maintenance of IBM 3299, 7695, 3287, 4210, 8809, 5360, 4248 and 5362 equipment and associated features. A complete inventory will be available in the RFQ. The IBM equipment is located in Jamaica NY, Birmingham AL, Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL and Richmond, CA. Maintenance service shall include: parts, labor, travel, 2-hr response time and other specifications. SSA anticipates a contract period of one year and three 1-year option periods. This acquisition is subject to Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) regarding the acquisition of commercial items. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed-price contract. Interested parts should request a copy of SSA-RFQ-01-0077 after November 27, 2000. Responses to RFQ will be due December 15, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
