95 -- FABRICATE & DELIVER 2 SETS OF 110 FOOT CHAMBER MITER GATES

Description: The Corps of Engineers has a need for a supply contract to Fabricate two sets of Miter Gates for a 110 foot wide lock chamber. The gates shall be constructed of steel plates, bars, sheets, and structural shapes, stainless steel plate and pipe and steel forgings and steel castings. An upper set of gates and a lower set of gates shall be furnished. Each set of gates consists of two gate leaves. Each leaf of an upper set of gates is approximately 29'-8" high by 61'-6" wide. Each leaf of a lower set of gates is approximately 39'-8" high by 61'-6" wide. The gate leaves are of welded and bolted construction, and shall be painted after fabrication. Award of this contract will be made subject to availability of funds. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. The CD's will be available approximately 121400 and sometime after this date the planholders list will be available on the internet at http://www.lrp.usace.army.mil/bus/bus.htm. This procurement is advertised unrestricted. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) Database before receiving a contract award.
