Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate with the National Academy of Sciences for the continuation of the NIH Resident Research Associateship Program in Biotechnology, which was established and has been conducted by the National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council since December 31, 1985 under contract number N01-OD-6-2107. This program is designed to further the purposes of the NIH by identifying and allowing Research Associates to increase their proficiency in research, to advance the research program of the NIH sponsoring laboratories and to permit the scientific community access to governmental facilities and resources.
