Description

The US Environmental Protection agency intends to award a purchase order under simplified acquisition procedures to Gunther Craun, Craun Associates, 101 West Frederick Street, Suite 205 Staunton, VA 24401 for the development of the 1999-2000 Waterborne Disease Outbreak Area. Mr Craun initially provided the technical expertise in data collection, database creation and update and data analysis, and as such the continuity and necessary background knowledge to assist in preparation of these reports in recent years. Assistance includes the evaluation and preparation of reports and documentation for the Total Coliform Rule and the Surface Water Treatment Rule. The EPA has identified Craun Associates as the only firm with the necessary background knowledge and expertise to perform the task within the prescribed time frame, i.e., FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements". Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit qualification statements no later than 15 days after the date of this publication.
