Description

NAICS 513310. The CECOM Acquisition Center intends to conduct an acquisition for manufacturer direct depot level support to Nortel Networks Telephone Switch Models SL-100 and SL-1 and other associated vendor peripheral equipment at DOD locations in Korea, Japan, Southwest Asia, Europe and the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Specific services include system upgrades; enhancements and expansions; short and long term field service support and emergency field service support 24x7, including holidays; parts repair and return; new parts replenishment; remote diagnostics; technical data and manuals; and extended service plan. CECOM hereby solicits industry feedback from potential contractors, suppliers and industry experts. The draft Statement of Work (SOW) and other related draft documents for review/comment will be posted on the Interagency Interactive Business Opportunity Page (IBOP) under Solicitation Number DAAB07-01-R-H101 as they become available. Comments shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer via email and are encouraged up to the time that final solicitation is posted. All comments/questions received will be reviewed and considered for incorporation into the final solicitation. If the need arises for a pre-solicitation conference, notification will be made via the CBDNet and IBOP. Final solicitation will be announced on the CBDNet and IBOP. The intent is for a single award, five-year IDIQ commercial contract under FAR Part 12, with an estimated value of $98M, to be awarded by 29 June 2001.
